I even like some of it
Last night I finally finished part 2 of The Bone Queen! I've only been working on part 2 for, hmm, about three months. (Faaail.) The other parts of the book had better flow faster, else I'll still be rewriting this book sometime next year.
I also realised, when tallying up chapter word counts, that I've passed the 25,000 word mark (I'm a bit above 27,000). I don't yet know what percentage of the book this is, but it's likely to be something between a third and a quarter.
You took my hand and led me down to watch a papillon parade, and we let the kittens lick our hair and drink our chalky lemonade. You squeezed my hand and told me softly that I shouldn't be afraid 'cause all the while your finger's resting gently on the masterfade, the masterfade.
